Sleeps till ski time

Nor have I :oops: :oops:
I have lapsed :cry:
Bacon roll instead of low fat yoghurt for breakfast today.
:oops:
Does seem a slow start this year, but have wondered if it is just me and mild paranoia, after all I have only 116 days for the snow to arrive before I need it :lol:
So .....
I looked at the snow history on snow-forecast for Tignes for this week over the last few years. The resort per see isn't open yet but the glacier is and the run back down to Val Claret should be open. I saw a few brave souls skiing back down last week, but not now I don't suppose.
2010 - runs to resort = closed, open from 11th
2009 = open
2008 = closed, open from 20th
2007 = closed, open from 3rd December!
2006 = closed, open from 22nd
So it looks like 3rd week of November is an average of when the runs back from 3000m to 2100m are open.
Quite reassuring.
It looks like a very warm week over the French Alps with freeze level well above 3000m :thumbdown:
But ....
It does then look like much colder weather arriving from next week - fingers etc. :lol:

Think we have about 119 left.
However I am getting concerned as there is a lot of brown on the mountain (and no Tony H before you start).
When is the white stuff gonna come??
I am sure that there was a lot more snow this time last year!!!
Really want to look on the webcams and see the snow falling and people skiing.
