I have to confess I didn't do any stretching exercises before or after ski-ing. I found the effort of just kitting up in the morning, walking about 20 yards to the gondola, and walking up the steps to it (there was a lift but we didn't bother with it) was enough to get me warmed up and ready for my lessons.
I'm sure I should have done some stretching, but I just didn't bother, and luckily I'm fine.

Funnily enough thats the one thing I make sure I do every morning, loosen the muscles up and get them warmed a little. Getting boots on and walking to the gondola simply raises heartrate, it doesnt do much for stretchig muscles and avoiding strains.

I'm pretty peeved as I've taken on more work and have no time for exercise

Just practise sitting on your backside just out of sight of everyone, and you'll be fine.betty wrote:I'm pretty peeved as I've taken on more work and have no time for exercise

Oddly, since getting home from skiing 3 weeks ago, I've lost interest in exercise (not that I was overwhelmed by it beforehand). Still walk the dog, still sitting here with a glass of wine 8)
