I just ordered a Prior MFR (freeride) 176cm board with a pro-tune (1deg base bevel, 88deg side edge, standard tip and tail detune, hotbox wax, with racing finish on the base) for less than 300€. Ex-demo, used 5 times prior to retuning, direct from manufacturer.

A full 8cm longer than my longest board at 168cm, only to be used on big powder days and for carving.

Me a happy boy.

Good grief... that's almost as big as one of Pablo's skis...

Well I am 6'3" or 190cm depending on how I feel, so it's up to my eyeline rather than between chin and nose, but I like a long board, especially for glacier carving (hence the edges) and powder. It won't be my first choice crowded piste cruiser
