I must admit ive been looking often at the web cams for St Anton and the conditions look fantastic!!! Cannot wait to get out there! plus the pound gained 1.5 cents on the euro the other day so the beers are probably going to be 3euros 99 now!!!! :D
Tony not sure what colours we are all in yet! Ive got a spyder jacket though so will probably be wrapped in that nursing a beer!!

S'cuse me?

I am all sorted. Trains booked, hotel booked, runs planned, beers imagined, songs rehearsed...everything!!!

I arrive about 6pm on the 3rd....

Located only a few meters from the cable car NASSEREINBAHN and the skischool ARLBERG and about 5 walking minutes from the main center (pedestrian zone) of St. Anton, our hotel garni (bed&breakfast) offers a peaceful ambience … cosy and welcoming atmosphere in our rooms and suites as well as in our relaxing spa and Vitality area!

So when do you lot arrive then?

Early to mid afternoon on 4th, not sure exactly, will depend on flights and conditions. Dont know if we will get a couple of hours in first day, but will arrange to meet up for drinkies somewhere I am sure.

You're right at the other end of the village from us unfortunately!

As an experienced dry slope ski instructor I can confirm that skiing on snow is much easier than on a dry slope. However, all the fundemental skills that are learnt on a dry slope apply on snow and progress is rapid! When I started I did a dry slope beginners course and on holiday for the first time was amazed that the instructor took us up the mountain on a chair lift on the second day! By the end of the week we were skiing all over the mountain - I was hooked!!
