I agree with all fliers - wish I could too in a way, but lucky them for being able to afford half term flight costs for a family of 4 - or the excess put on by Tour Operators. hehe.

I assume we're talking Zurich here, not Geneva ?

Big queues at immigration both in and out at GVA in December. The police were feeding British passports into a reader and checking on a database. Saw one British holidaymaker pulled, his wife and kids looking a bit bewildered by it all.
As usual, the satellite waiting area had insufficient seating for the number of flights expected, so it's the floor or the stairs to sit down.

I was waiting for a BA flight, which was late.

Definitely Zurich; can be prone to delays and closures due to snow, of all things, but lots of room, seats, staff, restaurants and bars, even when there are delays. Even the railway station is easier to get to than at Geneva!

and with Swissair you don't pay for carriage of skis!
