I want to ski in soo many places Tony. I don't treat my skiing as a "tick list", but I do have a lot of places that I want to ski, too many to list, and many that I want to ski again, Vail, Arapahoe Basin, Zermatt. And one special place in America to ski with a special person.
Hence it is that Mayrhofen isn't listed in my mind. Not that I don't want to go there, I do. I have done some Zillertal skiing, and would like to do the Tux.
I had given consideration to dropping off into the Zillertal for a day, when on the way from the Arlberg to Tirol on my January trip. Concluded that it would be driven by fantasy, and impractical with a rucsac and ski gear. Neither would it achieve what I would want to get out of the locale.
