This is especially good for the return journey as you can book for 3.00 am but can turn up at 11.00 pm and still get on the next ferry. No pressure to get there.
I also quite enjoy the boat as i can relax for a bit after or before the worst part of the drive which is the English side to and from Dover. :)

We've experienced this a number of times with Seafrance, we never seem to be on the boat we booked.
One year we turned up at calais and, to get us on an earlier ferry, they told us to go "VERY QUICKLY". We were last to board and sailed straight off.
It ended the holiday on a plus note

Top tip, Jonah.

Would be useful if any J2skiers did spot a ski-related voucher code, to quickly post it.

I went to Les Balcons de Val Cenis Village last Jan. apartments were good, warm and finished to a good standard. i loved Val Cenis. it was mentioned earlier that it is a quiet resort but there are some cracking runs and less people in a resort is always a bonus if you ask me.
also go to the bar at the bottom of the main gondola near Les Balcons and tell me the name of the beer that the have on tap with the silvers mountains on the pump. Best Beer i have ever tasted but cant remember the name of it :)

got some photos of the resort and apartments. message me if you wanna see them

This business of booking a feery time and turning up to get on the next available has been going on for years. In fact, I dont think I have ever got on the ferry I was booked for. Its similar for the tunnel, but you may find you cant get on any earlier than your booked time, and turning up late can cause you a long delay as well in peak times.
