Speeding in Switzerland

Hows the new job going Ian? I went to the grand opening and a tour round of the place that I am going to work.....wow its so nice I cant wait to get started.

I have got caught in the past with 40's in a 30...never been caught for the big ones though...touch wood :shock:

I have got caught in the past with 40's in a 30...never been caught for the big ones though...touch wood :shock:

Wickers, the speed cameras in Switzerland, are good for generating revenue. This means that you can have 2 or 3 different speed limits in the same couple of km´s, with no notice of the changes before you´re in the "zone". A camera will be placed to catch the folk that can´t figure out just what speed limit applies there and then. Kerching :evil:
Additionally, immediate speed reductions can apply at congested areas or roadworks, and cameras respond accordingly. Kerching :evil:

Yes it's not rocket science you drive to a maximum of 10% over the speed limit,taking into consideration that car speedos are approx. 10% inaccurate you should never get caught....unless you are not aware of speed limits on foreign roads....but that would be silly 8)
