Currently the resort is pretty full. One look in the main self service restaurant most days is enough to get me downloading for lunch in the apt. There is to my mind a self fulfilling prophecy at work. Less folks visit season end, so the lift co. decide to close the lifts on a specific date, and the late season skiers go elsewhere. Already, the piste management is taking out marker poles, snow cannons are being unbagged and they dismantling the furniture in the snow park :( Worst of all, the ski bus has stopped running between the 2 closest resorts, so I can't go and steal ise's pow, without a PITA 2 bus journey each way

Have a good end of season day, Bandit. Is the last day, a good top of mountain social day, in Grimentz?

Cheers Dave Mac and snowb4ndit :D I have another couple of days to ski before the lifts close.

Today was lovely fluffy powder 8) I was in the 1st gondola up, and skied all morning off piste, skiing  slopes with a 6'3" Scot who's a bit nifty on his skis. Oh, and he's fit, and he's a lot younger than me...yada yada.....

I survived :D

My afternoon's skiing was more like a carthorse would ski )
