Ain't snobbery, it's just plain facts. To me this looks like Dakine marketing a snowboard bag to skiers.
Some skis will fit, a lot won't.
regular resorts? what the hell is that supposed to mean?
I suspect he means the places he goes :D and anything else is not normal

The bag seems a little on the short side. For carvers only it seems?

I take your point on the bag, but you can get long carving skis you know.
I do believe you sometimes inadvertantly show disrespect to people who ski on pistes and who use "dinky little carving skis". I know you do a different kind of thing a lot of the time, but please dont put down many of the regular posters on here just because they choose to ski in regular resorts on regular skis.

Ise, I think Tony probably means resorts that appear in shiny brochures!!!!
And once again he shows a remarkable propensity for abrasive postings!!!!!
And to get back on topic, all this is a perfect example of why flying with BA is the least stressful way of transporting ski equipment!!!!

Agreed, brucie, in saying that I flew with Jet2 last month no issues at all. I have a 190cm Dakine Fall Line bag and they took it no questions asked! Weighed about 22kg.
Air Canada allow 2 bags up to 23kg each.. just standard allowance. Conclusion: we should all ski Canada 8)
