Fair point. I much prefer to eat out when on holiday, dining out is all part of the fun.

I agree on that but a few nights a week i simply can't be arsed to get changed and drag my tired bones out into the cold.....plus when you have kids in tow everything is 10x the effort.

Send the kids out to get a take away...You can just drink beer while your waiting for them!!!

God knows what we would end up with for our tea

If you intend to eat or drink in the resort......pack plenty of cash....I got charged €3.20 for a packet of Walkers crisps in Flaine a couple of years ago...you know how the French work..."were not making enough profit ,,,,lets double the price"

Well there is the problem, british brands are always going to attract a premium and i am sure they stick a bit more on because some gullible brit will pay it just so they can say they found walkers crisps abroad.

Take a small container with ground cinnamon.

As advised shop out of town, onion, steak, mushrooms and cream.

Chop the onion, steak, mushroom, cook in butter in frypan, add white wine, leave for 1/2 hour. Turn the music up.

Add some ground cinnamon and cream. Turn off the heat, and let the pan gently warm the cream.

Simple Stroganoff.....
