There are bare patches lower down at 1100 meters but the snow is better higher up and in flaine, it was a big difference from 2005 where we skied powder every day.
But like I have said many times you have to ski in all conditions and the conditions were a great check on your technique, the lower areas were not conducive to speed as the pistes were sometimes lumpy with bumps hidden in the shade. But hey I always look at the positives and we had a great time.
