I cant think of any food specific to us southerners really. Hubby comes from Sheffield so he knows a few northern specifics.

What exactly does 'a piece' consist of?!

in my mum's family both sides were dipped in the fat that the square sausages were cooked in.

Subway tends to do good things for me when my head feels like it's been put through a blender. Lots of water is an obvious one. Pretty much every bit of food I can get my hands on, actually, and a good dose of fresh air.

I woke up today to find my parents out for a walk and I was tasked with doing a roast, ready for them on their return. Not fair, I say... Then again, I did emerge from bed at about 1 in the afternoon.

In extreme circumstances, my brother has plied me with a cocktail made up of solpadiene, dioralytes and vitamin C - disgusting but seemed to do the trick

Has it occured to anyone that reading this thread with interest may suggest that you have a problem

Egg, bacon, chips, beans, mushrooms and a slice. Washed down with ice cold diet coke. That's what works for me!
