If I'm about to board a flight and I see you getting, I'm waiting for the next one

Remember to look behind you.......
You'll be in front. I like to be last on.

Me too, Mrs Snapzzz gets really annoyed with me as i just sit and wait till the queues are gone and they are about to close the gate.
I don't want to sit on there longer than i really need to, especially while people mess about with bags in the overhead lockers whilst holding up the line marching down the aisle.
now you're talking my language.
The screen changes to "gate open" and mrs h asks should we go to the gate whilst I order another drink at the bar.

Get your self a kid, first on the plane well apart from the infirm who run over your feet with their wheel chairs ...... so first on and seated before the riff raff board

Funnily enough, I always wait until late to allow the riff raff to board, as they're the ones who (despite having an allocated seat number) push to the front of the boarding queue, bolt at the first sign of the gate opening, rush to get on the plane and then stand in the gangway stopping everyone else getting on.
Not being one for carrying much hand luggage, I'm not overly bothered if it doesn't fit to the millimetre right above my seat.

No, let the ankle biters and rude people pile on first, get yourself another G&T and then amble down to the gate so you stroll on just as the gate is closing, perfect timing. Sit down, and off we go. Lovely.

This always annoys me, you have to sit around the airport, then in the gate area doing nothing. As soon as passengers get on the plane they then stand in the gangway sorting out their stuff which could have been done in the time before boarding.I carry a separate carrier bag with all my in flight bits & pieces sorted so just bag & coat in locker & sit down, how hard is it? Security's the same they wait till last minute to remove coats, belts, money ect & hold up the line

Rant over.

Yup, with everyone on this, never rush on to the plane, someone's got to be last.

Last off as well, what's the point in getting involved in the bun fight to get off at the other end when you're only going to do more hanging around in the airport. Again.

Sorry, more wibble.

Back on topic, I like to bandage my skis together (not entirely sure why, I think it was the only thing I could find one year) and shove a load of clothes in as well whether I'm flying or training it.

We are going with Inhams flying with Austrian Airlines. This paragraph is in the Inghams T&C's.

"Applicable to all airlines: Please note that each ski bag should only contain one pair of skis/snowboard. Airlines may refuse to accept ski bags containing clothing and ski boots, etc.
Your insurance company may not, and Inghams do not, accept liability for non-delivery or damage to any other items you pack in your ski bag."

My ski bag doesn't have any padding around the bindings so I am also looking for something to protect. Any suggestions greatly received!
