If someone playing music knocked over me or mine I would not be reponsible for my actions

I don't have mine in loud. I can still hear others and have conversations

Do you listen to the radio in the car Ian?

Less reliant on ear's in a car icy ... as you well know, again it is the Hypocrisy of lid wearers they seem to see the dangers of not wearing a lid but seem to see no danger in taking away a sense :!:

Hear what you are saying. But, personally speaking mine is not even loud enough to block out someone talking to me, never mind ski instructors. In fact, when I was getting in a lift, an instructor asked Mr to take on a kid, if my music was blaring I would not have been able to hear her.

Should blind skiers be banned from the slopes, and deaf people too??

No music for me whilst skiing (although I am big music listener when at home and travelling). I like all my senses to be tuned in to my surroundings....
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

I sometimes have my headphones in when on my motorbike but normally only use on of them so i can hear what is going on around me - especially living just outside London you get all sort "driving" cars! :(
See you on the piste!!!

I just like the serenity of being on an empty mountain and so don't listen to music whist skiing.

I don't think it would be dangerous - perhaps you might not hear someone coming from behind but that's supposed to be their look out. (likewise a piste basher - but they got loud horns)
I'm not sure which way I'd go if there was a shout of avalanche so perhaps better not to know! )
