That is a great video, almost 5 minutes and I watched it all - very rare for me!!
Loved the vary in conditions, especially the knee deep powder! :D
10 reasons to buy a Go Pro.

Without checking, i believe it was set to 720p at 60fps.
I used the setting that gives the widest field of view as you can only get a ski pole so far away from you.
Also the high frame rate lets you create slow motion effects in edit.
Snapzz, cracking video, I think you've done brilliantly well with the filming, editing and skiing for a 3rd weeker! Reminds me how good ADH is, recognised a lot of places in that.
I've been looking at a Go-Pro as they really are excellent, but wasn't sure where to fix it to as they're not great on bobbles and I am NOT wearing a lid. Your pole-cam seems to work well though, so its given me something to think about.
Mate of mine has a helmet cam Go-Pro and films us when we ski together, without is knowing generally, and then crafts together a summary video of the week. This one was from St Moritz Jan 2011. Look out for me in the green jacket (also black/red combo) and our very own Stewart Dowling in the pale blue jacket and crazy frog helmet:
They are definitely worth buying, you will get more use out of it than you think. I will be taking on my summer hols for use in the pool and prob be filming some wake boarding later in the year too.
Now is the time to buy as the new HD Hero2 is out and the one i have can be found at a great price now. The difference in quality between the 2 is not massive so in my opinion not really worth the extra cost.
There are tons of mounts available so you don't need a lid, you can get a chest mount and if you really want to there is a strap that fits on your head without the need for a helmet.
The pole mount stayed on my ski pole all week and i just dropped the cam on every now and again.
BTW, love the green jacket. Salomon have one out this year in the same colour which i am going to get once the prices fall. They want £300 for it at the mo but i expect them to be had for half that come march.

Love it! Great footage, loving the powder. Got to put one of those on the wish list, just below a new pair of skis!

Santa brought me a Drift x170 in my stocking!
No idea yet how good it will be or how much I will use it, historically I usually forget my gadgets are in my rucksack but we will see.
So far ...
It works!
It works on my head!!
You can tell the video is of a cat !!!
Didn't want a GoPro as the shape and mounting positions just seemed too obtrusive for my taste.

Tony you can also get a chest mount harness which still gives you a similar field of view to a helmet mount, could be worth thinking about.
