Being cynical, paying through the nose, especially when thinking about high in the French Alps.
When it snowed in the UK last year, my husband was making fresh coffee one morning.
I said: "coffee and snow on the ground really reminds me of ski-ing"
"Go and sit outside and I'll charge you £6 for it" was his quick reply. :)

When it snowed this time last year, Mr Nelly wanted to play loud music and sit in the garden in full ski gear drinking bombardinos.
Indeed, I think the good lady bought that from White Stuff. She just does things, and never tells me the price! She's a neat skier though!

The Ski's i wake up to every morning at the end of my bed ! I would sleep with them if i was allowed :D !!

Wearing fleece, and hardly ever anything else for the next four months. It really feels like the ski season now, but in April the feel of denim next to my skin reminds me that it's all over.

I took my daughter to Disney in Paris last week, I paid 8 Euros for a beer, THAT reminded me of skiing :-)
