Icy, don't forget that a lot of the big TO's also offer a ski guiding service, so you should always have a group of people to ski with during the day. This will almost always lead to you making friends within the group, thus giving you someone to enjoy a beer with after the skiing has finished.

You never know, it may also lead to a new Mrs Icy :twisted:

Who did you go with last time Icy? Are they not available to go again?
Is there not a Mrs Icy?
You could always offer to pay for your ski buddy to go.......if you're REALLY desperate )

When we were in Val D a few years ago there was a guy there on his own and he spent his entire holiday with the Ski Club guys - day and night, not sure they were overly happy with that but I'm sure the odd day here and there is acceptable.

Although it might help if you're a member.

And we saw him again this year Nelly - still looked to be all alone

The TO service is great though as mentioned above. Had a fab two days out on skis in VDI this year with the Inghams reps - must write the report I keep threatening!
