Have just been watching the night skiing down into Hinterglemm, and it is all complete. Thats only 1000m at village level. There were certainly a lot of hotshots heading straight down the fall line, great style. So no issues for them with the snow.
One or two days rain is no big deal. If it reaches freezing level at night, and the piste machines have done their stuff, the skiing will be good.
Interesting comments by Scarlet Fez and Finn. In 2008, many companies had changed equipment, snow production, snow storage.

The snow at the top of the mountains are still fine to ski on, the mild weather will continue for another week and then the temperatures will plummet.

According to the farmer's weather forecast, the snow should come in the next 2 weeks or so, also don't panic the snow cannons are also running through the nights!

Dan940 are you still talking about Niederau? Good news if you are. Auhofcam seems to be stuck, not showing up to date scenes at the moment. The lower slopes and Tennlanden are looking very sorry for themselves  I guess everybody's playing dodge the dark spot at the moment. Still, as long as there's enough to strap a pair of planks to your feet then it's skiing!
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

EmmaEvs, yes I am still talking about Niederau. I went out this morning skiing, the main piste doesn't have any brown patches, it's just the "extra parts" to the piste that are turning brown at the moment.

As soon as the temperatures drops, skiing will become better once again.

Could they be turning brown because of the dogs droppings.
