Banff - prices?

Really??

Before we reduce the conversation to kindergarten tatics I was simply suggesting where we have stayed before. We were very happy and would not hesitate to to stay (or ski) there again.

I'm just stating the facts. The website link in your profile is, usually, for your own website. People who come on and make their first post about a resort unrelated (lets face it, Fernie isn't all that close to Banff) to the topic in question and giving a link are usually spammers.

Although I am amazed at your apparent abilites to want to play "web police" I am un-nerved that on a public site I am unable to offer my personal opinion.

We thought Banff was pricey and that the ski community was quirky and snobby. We found the costs at Fernie, from lodging to food to the pubs and community much warmer and welcoming.

I am so sorry that I did rave on and on about Fernie over Banff when I first offered an alternative suggestion. Should I bow down to your surpreme chatting skills now, or can I stand on my own two feet???

I am actually employed by 'The Internet PLC' to Police our lands and keep them safe and free. We have a constitution very similar to that of the US constitution (but without the guns). The fact that the original post was asking specific questions about Banff - which you failed to address - must have nothing to do with it :roll:

LOL - I figured as much. At least we can laugh about it right? You are as stubborn as me and although we both have an outrageous desire to have the last word - touche - I will leave with this (I do have other things to do)...never settle for the first thing you see. Always shop around - you may be surprised as to what you find. Ciao.
