Thank you everyone for the welcome. I'm also staying at the Sonnschein hotel so its great reading all the tips already posted of where to go etc. This is my first time to Austria and only my second skiing holiday so very much a novice! Went to Bulgaria last year on a last minute cheap and cheerful deal but the lessons were pants... beginner group..how about teaching us to stop before taking us on the green run???? Bridget Jones eat your heart out! Taken a few extra lessons at Milton Keynes so very much looking forward to this trip as I'm hooked now!!
I'm hoping the snow will be ok... nearly twice the price to go later in the month with half term.... grrrrr! I feel so sorry for those with kids, well unfair.

I've just got home after a brilliant week in Niederau. The red ski school were fantasctic once again, and the sport cafe was great fun as always. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Can anyone tell me what nighlife and apre is like in niederau end of january
I have being to ST,johann and sallbach is it the same or worst, I dont care about night clubs or drinking till 4 in the morning but some bars with people in them at night and a bit lively, went to livigno last year and found it very quite at night and no apre ski.
