We did it at 10:30am on the first day of our holiday! We had just travelled over it on the chair and the conditions looked good having snowed the day before.
It was a kind of 'now or never' so off we went :shock:
It was our first black run ever. If you're gonna do one then you may as well make it a good'n!
The days following however you could see that it was deteriating fast and a lot of people were struggling on it. It was only closed for one day when a TV camera crew were filming a race between a cross-country skier and a moutaing biker climbing up the slope!!!
Anybody skied the Harakiri in Mayrhofen?
