You have missed the point.
It is like finding a "precious" artifact and trying to decide what it was for,,with the modern context!
To appreciate this lady you must know Wayne Wong and his influence!
She is taking flight! Off a mogul! Perfect take off position for that long flight to next mogul!
Yes knees tight,,but that is for long flight! Note tight air dynamic suit! Specifically made to decrease air turbulance!
Notice "vents" of suit,,to allow cool air to enter suit for "in flight cooling" This was far ahead of the modern zippered suits for cooling!
No No this great women skier is perfection in all ways!
That is why she is the icon of all real skiers! They can appreciate her form!

so I now use them only for practicing repairs and binding fixes.
But I still see plenty on the slopes. :lol:

If you manage to get a couple of pirates in your ski bag you really will be stung for excess baggage...
Wasn't the 9000 the first so-called monococque ski? Think I had a couple of days on some courtesy of Optimum very many years ago...

Based on your many pictures and previous bar picture,,could you not "rent yourself out" as social animator for all ski parties!
I am sure you could pay your way to many ski trips!
Many ski tourist need a person like you to help "animate" group into those strange behaviors!
There is a former ski acrobat who has a local bar made up of just old skis! His name is Egan!
If you skied on one ski which is on his bar,,you get free drink!!!!

I have to confess that it's usually the other half that gets things going. I just set it up. Still, we have a laugh.
Back on the S9000's, I think Salomon did a limited edition S9000 a couple of years ago. They look like a Streetracers with a paint job;
