dodge uk wrote:OK hi all again just an update where we are. We have now decided on Bansko 4 march any good places to stay near the gondola :-)
I think you have found the perfect place, especially as its somewhere I'd never go.

More lols!  I think we're doing Bansko next yr unless we find a great deal, so don't defer it till then, will you?
Was going to refrain from posting for a while, but have to confess, I read this thread with horror. My husband was injured (Luckliy only his arm, but it meant a 40 odd yr old man needed help getting on a drag lift for the rest of the week) because of a drunken idiot charging straight down a slope when he'd literally only just learned to snow plough and knocking him over. Sorry but skiing is a very strenuous sport, and if you've never skied you'll spend your first few days wobbling snow ploughs on the nursery slopes. Mixing it with drinking is not a good idea! Why do people feel the need to go off for a week for a stag do? isn't a few beers down the local any good anymore? Then take the wife skiing after the wedding? lol
Seriously, be careful. Heavy drinking and skiing don't mix!
