Back from a fabulous weekend in Cairngorm. The snow is as good as it gets. There was the usual transport issues. There is a one hour queue for the bus from the car park to the centre. We opted for the walk, a mile and a half uphill, carrying skis.
Small queue for passes, 15 min for the train, six minutes up the hill. Then, everywhere was super. White Lady closed for races, everywhere else open.
At the end of day, a ski down the full length of Corrie na Ciste, quite icy, leads right back to the car park.
