 I do it all the time when I get new gear, so I don't think it's wrong. I've never had anything 'Spyder' though... I bet you keep looking at the price tags too!!!

Are you expecting therapy for your little secret?
If so not sure you'll get it on here. No one has ever been cured yet.

I know what you mean about the price, but my last jacket lasted ten years and I was starting to look like I'd had it since the seventies.
Hopefully it will improve my skiing, well thats how i justified it to myself and it makes me look slimmer so its a win win!
Only six more sleeps!

One possible cure for this very serious condition is falling over leaving the boot room on the first morning of skiing. If you try this method, do make sure no-one else is watching :D

Word of warning. If the jacket has any white in it, do NOT, I repeat NOT, ever spill any ketchup or bolognese sauce on it!
My friend has a red/white/blue Spyder jacket, and the first time he wore it, he managed to squirt ketchup on it from a hot dog, and before the end of the week he added the bolognese sauce. No matter how hard they tried, the stains never came out. We constantly remind him every year of what he ate on that trip
