Do you think this is a good deal?

Seems a little expensive, you should be able to get it cheaper depending on availability. We are paying £2200 for 14 nights, family of four half board (Pension Marrianne) including flights & transfers all booked independantly and that's in the middle of Febuary.
 Just read that again £747 Inc ski pass & ski hire seems very reasonable. Sounds like a good deal.
If N is where you want to go, shop around, thats a shocking price.
I cant remember where I saw it, but Travelzoo was doing Xmas week in Niederau for £229 I think last week.
Ask yourself this first - do you want to go to Niederau, or do you want a ski holiday?

It depends when you are going, and where from. A 6 day lift pass is 160 Eu. Ski hire is 48 EU, probably a bit cheaper through your J2 discount. Total 248Eu = £208.
Harfenwirt (3*) HB, 8 Jan is £338, total £546
Sonnschein (4*) HB, 8 Jan is £441, total £649
I would choose the Harfenwirt, because it is closer to the slope, 30m. I would conclude that for that dates, £747 is not a good deal, regardless of the departure airport.

No, thats not a good deal at all. You can get a week in N for £149 inc flights, transfers and accommodation B&B. Lift pass is about £160, ski hire £50 so no I think its a high price.SkiGirl wrote:7 nights, half board, 4* hotel in Niederau including flights, transfers, lift pass and ski hire £747 each.

We can't get decent deals from N Ireland, the cheapest Harfenwirt price was over £500 just for the accommodation, flight and transfer. Tony_H where did you see that £149 price?

Those are ridiculous prices. We can get £300 for a catered chalet Xmas week at the moment.SkiGirl wrote:We can't get decent deals from N Ireland, the cheapest Harfenwirt price was over £500 just for the accommodation, flight and transfer. Tony_H where did you see that £149 price?

It is somewhat difficult from NI. The best Harfenwirt deal from Belfast City I can see, so far is £448. Add £208, total £656. I do not find any attraction in pursueing a Ryanair Dublin/Salzburg flight price of at leat £124. You can reduce by £59 pp, by staying at the Enzian, ie £389, total, £597.
