Anyone know which of the following would be best:

Cobra PR190 16km
Motorola FV300 10 miles

I would go with the Motorola purely because I have never heard of 'Cobra'. If the ranges are correct then the Cobra is a little less so yet another reason to go Moto :wink:

Ours our Motorolla, dont know what type though. Never had any probs.

How much are you looking at paying Tony and how many radios?

Been thinking about some for us.

I had no idea what to expect to pay, but looking on ebay I see a pair of 10 mile radius ones are going for around £20 plus delivery. I'll have some at that price. I was only looking at 2, but might buy 2 sets for when we go as a group.

I got mine in front of me now, the make is Uniden model PMR885 comes with charger and headsets, never had a moments trouble with them :wink:

Get more than 2 if you can, just saves a bit of hassle. Not a lot, just a bit. :)
