I know this topic of gloves comes up a lot, but specific question
Are all leather ski gloves waterproof?
The spec below suggests to me that it may not be as good as goretex?
Full Cowskin Leather Shell with D-Dry ® internal membrane
Thinsulate® internal padding
Microbemberg® micro fleece lining
Under the Cuff Design
Wrist fastening system With Zip
Pre-curved fingers - enhances maneuverability

Pavel uses leather gloves, and he sent me a pair to an address in Vail. Unfortunately, the address was not recognised by the mailing company, and the gloves went all the way to Colorado, and back to Pavel-land. It was a nice thought though.
I am pretty sure that Pavel treats his leather gloves with dubbin.
The best pair of gloves I had were leather, branded Kneissl. They cost £20, some 40 years ago. They were lifted of the garden wall by an enterprising binman....

Remember leather per se isn't waterproof, so you need something waterproof either inside (a liner) or a treatment to the outside. If it's a waterproof liner then you need dubbin or something similar to stop the leather drying out and cracking.
