ADH is a great place to ski, I've had 2 weeks there now and would go back again sometime.
It can get relatively busy at certain lifts in town, but theyre fast and queues get shifted quickly.
However, both times I've been in mad January so no schools about, and I have to say I'd hate to go here when its packed with people. It makes a huge difference being able to go outside any school holiday periods.

Was looking at this resort on WTSS - started to wonder why I did not opt for this resort - seems to have everyting.Fantastic for all abilities.I think I need to go here. Checked again and it does say pistes get busy. As southern France is on half term week the same as ours this year, maybe I should leave it until I can go outside school holidays.

I think most places can get busy at certain places and at certain times.
Normally you can find quiet slopes and lifts if you venture out of the main town in every resort.

ADH is a great resort. We were there just after New Year and the crowds and queues were horrendous -e.g. 30 minute wait at Marmottes chair. Pistes were very busy and I got collected from behind by a black guy who "didn't see" me.
Still had great skiing though but the queues spoilt the fun a little. Would love to do it again during a quieter period.

Top of the list for a return next season, which would be my 6th visit I believe. Absolutely love the place.
