Well that's it for 2012. The sun is setting over Flaine and I'm packing my stuff knowing that it will be next season before I will ski again.
Gutted.
I've learnt so much this season. I now carve reds where I used to side slip and have discovered the joys of off piste and moguls.
Standard pistes just don't cut it anymore, all though I do find them fun..
I can remember this feeling last year, I know the pain will ease but for now you can't give me comfort.
Come in Iceman....let's get hammered

Hold those thoughts! Sounds like you've raised your game this season so bask in your own glory, chill for a while (2 or even 3 days!) and then set yourself some fitness goals for next season... it'll be here sooner than you think!
...but are you absolutely sure you can't squeeze in one more wafer-thin trip?
If not then see the above.
Admin is quite right. We are less than halfway through a European season with the biggest snow for years. Time to save for an April getaway :D
Quick question. How I'd u make so much progress? Lessons?

It's a b****r isn't it Snapzzz .... ?????
But I do wonder if one of the attractions of the snow is it's lack of year round avialability to mere mortals.
Last year I got it pretty well spot on - skied at Christmas and Easter, beginning and end of season and seeing the snow rapidly going made the end of the season easier in a way.
Never mind - edit your vids and plan for 2013 !!

I know that feeling, but its a feeling knowing you've had a damned good week.
One week just isn't enough, you just start to up your game and the holiday comes to and end, then you have to start all over again next time you get to ski.
Hope you've had a fantastic holiday, and looking on the brighter side, we have snow back in the UK!
Safe trip.

I have often called this SAS - Salzburg Airport Syndrome, as I always felt like this when we arrived there to get our flight back to the UK. It affects us all, so you are not alone  I could not find a little face with a hug attached!
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!

I still had that feeling in April lasy year after a 5 month ski trip...It's an illness I'm sure.
Before that I always made myself feel better by booking the next one. One ski holiday a year very quickly turned into two and then three and then 4! You know what happened after that...Complete mid life crisis or as I prefer to put it 'lifestyle change'.
Chin up...There is plenty of research for you to do before you can decide where you will go next time, that should keep you happy for a bit!
