A quick heads up for those traveling out to France his weekend.....be prepared.
It's been snowing heavily for the last two days and whilst as far as I can tell the authorities are doing well to keep roads clear but there are delays.

We are currently sat at the airport waiting for further passengers that are stuck on their transfer from resorts.

On the plus side we left behind knee/waist high powder. Visability is low and is set to stay that way for the next few days at least. Snow was falling to at least 1500m, rain lower down
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

Well, our plane took off only a third full. Many people were stuck in resort and unable to get down of their mountain.
Not sure how much fun their NYE will be.

Crikey. Thats made a massive problem for the tour ops in terms of repatriating their passengers. Charter flights usually wait until the majority are on board before leaving people behind.
Must have been serious to get that many stuck.
Luckily ADH is only 50 odd bends and then decent roads in the valley to Grenoble.
