I've never skied with a back pack but this year I'm tacking my daughter to Kaprun, to keep the cost down we will be tacking a picnic for lunch. dose anyone have a suggestion for a good back pack?

Something that's easy to get off, for when you get on a chairlift :)

I use a relatively small-sack for snacks/camera/drinks etc. It also has elastic strapping on the front, which hold my 8yo's ski's/poles quite went.

Despite signs, I would say that at least 90% of folk don't take theirs off on a chair lift

Mine is a slim one from tog24 just enough for a bladder, fleece, goggles and mars bar

I was in morzine last year and before that, and before that, etc, etc and have never been asked to

Just my opinion and viewpoint, I have not said whether doing it is right or wrong....

And......relax....

I got one in DW Sports, it's actually a runner's backpack with a 2 litre bladder and enough room for your sarnies and chocolate - £15
