Today I've decided to cancel my January 4 ski trip; despite intensive physio, not certain the achilles tendon injury is going to be up to it by then.
Much more sensible to postpone until March, I think!
So no more webcam/lack of snow anxiety for a little while yet! :)
Disappointing but sensible!

Bad news Lota, only you will know if your body is fully recovered ... good luck for March

Well done.....
I really mean that, a tough decision but hopefully one that means that when you do go everything works and you can enjoy many more amazing ski trips over the years to come.
I'd do a big hug emoticon if there was one i knew how to use. :-)

Bad luck Lota. Absolutely right decision not to ski. Achilles tendon injuries are one of the worst injuries. They seem to take ages to recover, and there seems to be no point of confidence that the injury is fully recovered.

Sorry to hear that Lota, but also glad that you are being sensible! March will come round soon, the snow will probably be better and you will ski more confidently. :D

Hi Lota,
Sorry to here that, but sometimes it's best to let the head rule the heart.....another 3 months or so of physio and treatment should work wonders, just don't over do it in March.
My knee still gives me jip even after two years......might have something to do with not having any physio and the only medical treatment I had at the time was to strap cold bottles of beer to my knee with a tea towel the last few days of my holiday....then take the contents internally...
......purely for medical reasons you understand :D
Hope all goes well and a speedy recovery.
