Glad you said that! I found Zipfer not very nice beer at all. Luckily, just a short distance away, you can get the wonderful Zillertaller Pils.

All this talk of schnapps and face planting is detracting from the fact that the forecast is getting better and better, and I get to N on 6 March!!!!!! Cant wait.

We are staying at Pension Margit. I hope someone can give me a review.

Also, mrs saffer wants to know how not so good skiers make it back down from the top of the mountain? She always feels a bit shy asking to get on the lift to go down again.

She shouldn't be shy of getting back on the gondola down Saffer. Loads of people do it. And she doesn't have to ask, just get on it :D The lifties expect people to be going down as well as up, they don't bat an eyelid. Much better to do that than end the day with an unpleasant experience on a slope she's not happy on.

All this ice is it an Austrian thing :shock:

I alaways thought Schapps was supposed to be drunk ice cold rather than with added ice?
