innsbruck via edinburgh (29 Jan 2010)

Just managed to book myself up for Mayrhofen on the mentioned dates. This will be my fourth time to the resort, first in a few years mind you so im feeling psyched up and eager to see what has changed since last time (I see that the lift pass prices have inevitably changed though which im not too happy about). As a side note I would thoroughly recommend the place to anyone, I see there has been a lot of chatter elsewhere on the forum regarding "The Hof".

My travel arrangements are flying via Edinburgh to Innsbruck on an early morning flight. This poses a bit of a stumbling block for me as I don't drive and I am looking at travelling through from Glasgow, which would mean utilising various modes of public transport and hanging around bus stops and airports in the middle of the night with luggage and skis, which I wouldn't mind otherwise, ie if I was travelling for a flight at a decent time of day.

As a bit of a long shot I thought it would be worthwhile seeing if anyone on the forum is driving through from Glasgow to Edinburgh on said dates to make the same flight, which wouldn't be unheard of as Edinburgh is the only airport in Scotland which flies to Innsbruck. Of course I would be willing to pay part of any travel costs, I'm a good passenger, and I'm not a crazed mentalist!
