looking to buy boots for the first time soon but am not sure how to go about buying them, read on other forums you should go to a good boot fitter. does any one know of any good boot fitters in and around the Dundee area. also read diffrent boots are aimed at diffrent skiers and abilitys,I am fairly new to sking and want a boot to try a little bit of everything. any advice?

A boot fitter can only do so much. The better educated you are about ski boots, the easier his job will be, and better your chances of long term happy feet, and good skiing. Read as much as you can. Maybe start here...
