I have a second hand pair of Head Mojos. The tips were damaged in transit but only on the upper surface (bases are fine so performance should be ok) - does anyone know how I can repair the upper surface edges? Is it fibre-glass, plastic or what? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated as I am a vain so and so!

Welcome to J2ski :D . Depending on the amount of damage, Araldite is often used for fixing holes. If you have some delamination at an edge, then use an Epoxy glue and clamp. Can you post some photos here?

Thanks very much. That confirms what I heard from an ebay shop/technician.

Check on the epoxy you use for delamination repair. Most from the car stores set too hard, you'll need some the remains a little flexible after setting.
because I'm so inclined .....

what you need is araldite 2011 not available ar halfrauds but form places like http://www.jonsskituning.co.uk/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,56/category_id,21/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,1/

just make sure you put something to act as a release paper over the area and clamp well and leave in a warm place for 24-48 hours...DO NOT get impatient or the bond will not be good

good luck

CEM, what would you suggest using as a release paper under a clamp? IE: what won't stick to Araldite?

silicon paper (available from cookshops). Cling film is another option- will peel off eventually but won't show if it doesn't come off easily.

hey i am a cheap skate... parcel tape seems to work pretty well as you just peel it off afterwards or the backing from vinyl stickers or ink jet lables
