Hi,
After my last season trip to Verbier I finally decided to buy a ski helmet. I have not used one before.
Could you comment on my shortlist below and possibly suggest other alternatives.
I am mostly concerned about comfort, adjustable fit, closeable vents and low weight.
So far I shortlisted:
Bolle Powder
Uvex X-Ride Motion
Uvex Ultrasonic
Casco Powder.
Many thanks for your input:)

Snowb4ndit - if you meant 'goggles' I reiterate that.
I tried on around 30 helmets at this years Ski Show and found my 'perfect fit' but the OTG goggles I bought at the last Ski Show don't fit properly !!
Thanks Jim.
Giro G10 has many fans:)
I'll check it out.
Regards,
Thanks for advice.
Unfortunately there are very few ski shop here in Kent:( to try different helmets + I only get time off work on Sundays this days.

Best thing to do would be go to the shop and try them all on.
If it helps I wear a Giro G10. Wear it all day (when skiing) v comfy, adjustable vents, fine adjustment on head sizing and recommended.

Yup, what Getjim and Snowb4ndit said.
I just bought a helmet. I got a Salomon icon custom air. Sorry - I haven't tested it yet, but the vent size compares well with others, and they open/close to give you the choice you're looking for. Oh, it's also very light, much lighter than it looks. I almost double checked the box to make sure they hadn't sneakily removed it while I wasn't looking!

I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

I did mean goggles.
I don't have a helmet, I've just been advised so many times now on what I have to do if and when I buy one and I can't help passing on the advice!
