For me ski is without car or even without walks.... the ski week is to ski only.
Last year me and my family went to Les Menuires, this year we would like to change to another resort, but we're afraid to chose appartment or hotel far away from the slopes.
I have another issue - my youngest soon will have ski courses for the firts time, so it would be important to stay near the French Ski School.
If someone could help it would be great..... ski in ski out hotels or appartments near a French Ski School.

Tks in advance and have a great ski season

Have a look at the Altiport area in Alpe d'Huez or even Val Thorens. Having been to both, you should find either of them provide slopeside accommodation. Personally, I preferred ADH.

Why don't you try Austria for a change. Oberlech ticks all the boxes and is ONLY ski's, no cars allowed and everything walking Or skiing!) distance. Ski school located very close to all hotels.

Val Thorens is great, but from Les Menuires I already know all the resort:)

Meribel Motteret - http://www.mottaret.com is quite informative - can't say i have stayed there, but it looked really convenient when we stayed in Meribel - most self catering accomodation though

You could also have a look at La Belle Plagne. Most of the accommodation is true Ski-in, ski-out and very close to ski school. Extensive ski area for the rest of the group as well.

ADH is great, especially for kids but most of the accommodation is not really ski-in/ski-out.
