Looking for advice on where to go in Austria, for a family with 2 teenagers. All our skiing has been in France so far. Adults and kids are intermediate skiers, but the 15 yr old wants to take up snowboarding, so we need a good English speaking school. And we don't want to break the bank! We do like easy access to slopes, we're done with carrying skis for miles.

Many hotels in Niederau are a walk across the road to the lifts. The red ski school is highly rated, and has a number of good boarding instructors. All of the ski/boarding instructors speak English.
Accomodation is reasonable and good standard.
The resort is good for all standards of skiers, but doesn't have a lot of individual runs. There is a free ski bus up to Auffach, where the skiing is a bit more extensive and a little easier. Having said that, if you like to get a lot of skiing in a day, Niederau is good, much better than many mainline resorts.
