My family has skied Niseko Japan for the last few years primarily for the deep and reliable powder. The off piste and back country options are excellent there and we are wondering if there is similar powder options at a resort in Austria?

I have only read about Niseko, and from what I've read there isn't anything that will compare.
That level of skiing is way beyond me, but my 'steep and deep' mates say St Anton is hard to beat, although it can get ridiculously busy.
A better option may be to try Solden/Obergurgl which is far less crowded and has very extensive off piste terrain - but a guide is an absolute must!
