Whistler 2011

What are the chances of snow being good still mid-April? my daughter lives/works in Champery in Switzerland and will finish the season mid-April and we want to go to Whistler for 10 days when she finishes?
what are peoples opinions on what snow will be like?

There is usually still lots of snow here in April and a lot more sunshine than the rest of the winter.. Also hotels are cheap and they usually run a $199 spring ski pass offer which is insane value for money if you come for a week or twos skiing compared to $100/day in the winter. Im always baffeled as to why more people dont come here in the spring. If you like groomers and your skiing warm in the afternoon and way more bang for your buck spring is the time..

I have been twice in April and snow was still falling, so all should be well for some great skiing.You will also be able to catch the Tulis festival which I think starts around about the 15th april
