i am going to buy a free style skis whoes waist width is above 110mm.

which kind of bindings should i select?

could you recommend me some ?

and must the bindings's width is wideer than the waist of skis?

There is a discussion thread on the New Schoolers Forum, that you may find useful.

Generally, on mid fat skis and wider, binding body width is narrower than the ski waist, but the brake must be wider than the ski waist.

Because they are quite heavy and it's tough to get the toe pressure correct on the binding, I would tend to disagree with your suggestion )

Additionally, the lowest used DIN setting is suggested at 9. Not everyone's choice I imagine.

They are supposed to be the bombproof hike n' ride binding. I can't think of why any tourer would want to take off the ski to put the binding in/out walk mode???

The Jesters are lighter, with a lower DIN and they are all plastic. I've heard rumours about the limited durability of the materials. When I was looking for a freeride binding I was steered away from the Marker offerings, and towards the Look/Dynastar PX range. I chose the PX12, and so far very happy.

Priest says he wants a Freestyle Binding, not necessarily a Freeride one, the Jester has a zero ramp angle, but that can be achieved on any flat binding using plates.

Agree completely. Mixing up the styles, or lost in translation?
