Well i couldn't decide which section this goes in so i decided here as more people look in here than ski tuning course, I am looking for a ski vice but I really dont want to spend 80.00 to 130.00 on a vice. i have found a good alturnative to a waxing bench and saveign my self a few 100 but the vices seem to be abit expencive. Does anyone know of a place where they sell them cheep or is there a way of making them?

Also if someone has one they don't want any more I will buy it off them.

You can get the SkiMan Vise set for £75

I've been using my SkiMan stuff for about 15 years. I think it's been rather good value for the money.

I used these. It required the hutch construction to support them.

Trenchers vice looks really good just depends on your DIY skills, but I think I paid about £70 for my vices 8)

It's a dedicated ski bench as well. The convenience of quick mount ski vices is maybe worth the extra cost in versatility. It's maybe something that you keep an eye out for a good deal, rather rush out and buy a set.

I'm already set up my friend, been servicing skis out of my garage for the last four years, but I actually quite like your set up from the photos.
