I'm arriving in Europe (Milan) April 18 and wondering if there's still any skiing to be had at that time of year? If so where would be the best place to go? France? Italy? Switzerland? Has it been a good season over there?
Thanks,
Murray

How about Cervinia in Italy, it's linked up with Zermatt so definite skiing possibility as well as the fact cervinia is about 2000m's at the village!

Going by experience only...
Saas Fe
Zermatt
Hintertux
all good for varying reasons. In April I'd do Zermatt and include Cervinia as suggested, outlook is promising. Into May I'd go for the Tux everytime would it not be 8 hours on the train.
Whatever you do, enjoy!!
