Get the discovery lift pass it gives you 1 day on la plagne for a couple of euros over the standard price for 6 day pass activated by going over on the vanoise express cable car ( nice views from the cable car).
Also take choc bars and drinks out with you Buy from supermarket in arcs 2000, as the piste cafes are ridiculosly expensive €15 euros for lasagne!! And 5 euros for a coke!
Lots of mileage great skiing ( was there 2 weeks ago).
have a great time

Not too bad a little steep and narrow at top but if u bottle it there is a blue run back down to arcs 2000.
Some nice reds over near the grand Reynard area of arcs and try the blue called belvedre which you get to by going
straight down from arcs1950 to the last lift before the road and coach park it takes u up and over into the next valley and you can ski all the way to arcs 1600

Hi,
You will have a great time in Les Arcs, will be there myself in a few weeks :D :D :D ,plenty of good runs for all abilities which will help build more confidance also, on the eating while on the go side of things , on the main run back into Arc 2000, there is a wooden hut near the bottom of the Arcabulle lift which sells hot slices of pie/quiche/tart etc and hot/cold drinks for a fraction of the prices in the slopeside restaurants, if you are staying in 1600 there is a small burger bar( on the corner) in the small under cover walkway which is also good value, and the food is wholesome and hot,but can be busy at lunchtime.
Have great time and an enjoyable safe trip
