Couple of photos from today. The first is the run down to the village, which is in great condition. The second one is yet more off piste powder in the Couloirs area above Bendolla 8)

So it's official. Val D'Anniviers is the place to be for snow at the moment!
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

The Val D'Anniviers and Lauchernalp in the Lötschental seem to have the most snow at the moment ~40cm at 1600m. Although conditions in most of the other local resorts are still quite good, in spite of the recent rise in temperatures. I skied in Saas Grund on Saturday and Zermatt on Sunday and on the whole the snow was good.
Tomorrow is forecast to be cloudy and a bit colder than of late, with snow in the evening and on Thursday, Friday should be fine. You can watch the clouds roll in here: http://meteo.search.ch/grimentz Its in English but sometimes you have to select the language manually in the drop down menu on the extreme right.

Some photos from the last few days. The conditions remain very good, with the run to the village (and to the door) complete. The piste snow surface is firm and packed. It's still damn cold!
The breakable crust off piste has started to break down, maybe it's drying out?

Some Snowpark action from today in Grimentz. There was a Skier and Boardercross race on as well, but the most spectacular skiers were in the 6park Snowpark. We had a little fresh snow overnight too :D
