Can you get flights to Munich:?: If so, it is only 90 minutes down the motorway to Soll (and a few more minutes will get you to Westendorf or Kitzbuel. Plenty of decent skiing and lively apres ski available :lol:

Tony, couple of points on Verbier, not sure about 2 hrs tfr, was looking at 1 1/2 max, although whats another 30 mins. The main problem is expense, I do a fair bit of traveling to both Zurich & Geneva & the costs of food & drink are a joke, i presume this will be likewise in Verbier?

Wanderer, flights to Munich are a no no for the Northern Boys, also worried about snow in Mid March in Soll.

From memory, I found Verbier cheaper than France becuase of the exchange rate.
