hi everyone just to stop you all worrying, got back from morzine last week and believe me there is plenty of snow. was extremley cold at times and visability wasn't great on afew days but we had a great week.skied in avoriaz and le gets which is really pretty along the tree lined roads. enjoy those of you going.

I am off to Les Gets and have been looking at the Web Cams every day. On my iPhone I have an app and it shows a Les Gets cam that is pretty green. However it is obviously a very old image as it hasn't changed in 2 weeks +. I think this must be the one the previous poster has seen?

Excellent - have a great time out there, Pete. Not going to Les Gets until Easter this year,hoping it's still good then!

yes it must have been an old picture because les gets was far from green, really enjoyed skiing there and the runs down to the pleney lift in morzine were also well covered as were the runs in avoriaz.

There is a serious amount of snow in most of France right now, dont panic.
As for 20cm, thats a dribble overnight. Nice to ski on if the pistes were groomed before it fell though.
